Who provides the service
Screechee is provided by SPRK Productions LLC in Phoenix, Arizona. In these terms, “Screechee,” “SPRK Productions LLC,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of the service. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@sprkproductions.com.
Using Screechee
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. You are responsible for your account, the activity performed through it, and keeping your sign-in methods secure. Do not share access tokens, impersonate another person, or create deceptive accounts.
Your content
You retain ownership of original reviews, notes, profile text, Crates, and other content you submit. You give Screechee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve the service. This license ends when content is deleted, except for cached copies, content others have independently shared, and records we must retain.
You must have the right to submit your content. Do not upload copyrighted text, images, recordings, or other material you do not have permission to use.
Community conduct
You agree to follow the Community Rules. Prohibited activity includes harassment, threats, hateful conduct, sexual exploitation, spam, fraud, manipulation of ratings or rewards, unauthorized scraping, security testing without permission, evasion of access controls, and interference with the service or its providers.
Music and third-party services
Screechee provides discovery, commentary, links, metadata, artwork, and limited preview playback; it does not sell music or grant rights in recordings or artwork. Apple Music, MusicBrainz, the Cover Art Archive, news publications, and other services are independent. Their availability, content, and terms can change, and your use of them is governed by their agreements. Spotify integration is currently disabled.
Availability and changes
Screechee is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change, pause, or end, especially during beta. We may remove content, limit access, or suspend accounts to protect listeners, comply with law, enforce these terms, or keep the service reliable. We will try to provide notice when practical.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Screechee disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Screechee is not responsible for third-party content, services, outages, or actions. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending use
You may stop using Screechee or delete your account at any time. Terms that logically survive—such as ownership, licenses already exercised, safety enforcement, disclaimers, and dispute obligations—continue after termination.
Arizona law
Except where consumer law requires otherwise, these terms are governed by Arizona law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that must be brought in court will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Maricopa County, Arizona, and each party consents to that venue.
Changes to these terms
Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms where permitted by law.
